Finalmente aquí está el premio para *twelveofdecember , ganadora en un apretadísimo segundo puesto del First Quimtuk's Ultra-Epic Contest.Se trata de su chica de pelo rosa Lola [link] , en versión "Rocker Pin-Up", ya que a ella le gusta el rollito pin-up, a mi me gustan las alt-girls (yum! ¿y a quién no?), y a los dos nos gusta el pelo rosa XD
Así pues... espero que te guste, Lara!

Yeah, maybe in this case my usual combination of cute simplified anime face wit the twisted cartoonish style has failed a little due an over-simplification of the face or a slightly dull expression... About the flatness I don't know, I thought my style has lots of flat parts or false-perspectives, but maybe this is more present in the face in this particular case. Any advice for improving it without changing the particular style?
I used a cool fabric pattern image that I found on google and modified it a lot simplifying shapes, adding the colors (and that "japan flag rays" thing) and adding that kind of dirty wallpaper texture on top

I can see her blue eyes working out with this image still.. the thick eyelashes might have to go, and just make the eybrows that instead? You're sort of already doing that anyway, if that makes sense (sort of like your current avatar icon, that image is working so much better)
Given the angle of her face, I feel like some of the features are a tad off. If you try redrawing it, use light guidelines that follow the "form" of the head. I mention 'form' because the rest of her body has GREAT dimention, and if you gave some dimention to her face, it would tie the whole image together nicely

Me alegro mucho de que te guste, la verdad esque es uno de los dibus a los que he puesto más cuidado últimamente y cuyo resultado me ha satisfecho más, tenia ganas de que lo vieras!! >.<
Siempre guardo los psd originales a 300ppp, así que podemos cambiar los ajustes de color para cmyk (a veces cuando hago dibus para deviantart elijo colores rgb sin mucho cuidado porque pienso que va a ser visto en digital, pero se hacen 4 apaños y listo) y sacamos una impresión así bonita

I have a question though - why has one of her arms dissapeared into her hair?

Her hair should cover partially the arm that is going behind her head to grab the guitar, but I liked the dynamism of the arm lines in that pose and I didn't wanted to draw a lock of hair covering it partially so I decided to make the arm just dissapear as if the hair was a kind of ethereal curtain. They call it Artistic license XD
