((Updated WIP, finished laying down the legs. Still super messy, don't mind me, it's still a WIP. Also, have a little headshot. Changing his hair a bit.))Praise the lord, Gen finally found a shirt.
I mean, I've always assumed that Gen wears clothing, it just never.... made it onto his app sheet...
Sobs, I blame RandomlyKlutzy and AngelTakashi for A. getting me back into CdR, and B. getting me to RP Gen again, respectively.

It was a large part of Gen's character that he had his heart set on the Diamond Faction-- so he could be with the other freaks and mutants, people of his own kind, people who he felt comfortable around-- but was automatically put into the red faction because he was a tarantula. Gen was pretty heartbroken, and has always been a little bitter about that. He's begrudgingly accepted his fate, but still always wonders the, "what if?"s, and has never really felt at-home in the Red Faction.
So then RandomlyKlutzy inspired me to poke around the newly-revamped CdR and... THEY CHANGED THE RED FACTION RULES!? GEN IS NOW ELIGIBLE FOR THE DIAMOND FACTION!?
"Gosh," I thought, "Gen would be so, SO happy!"
And then I got so excited for my poor lonely spider boy that I... a-accidentally... decided to rejoin CdR... Oh gosh--
I don't know how many of my CdR peepz watch me, but I know a few do, so:
I'm so sorry! I got into CdR's very first opening, but right around the India event, that "holy crap transition from highschool to college" real-life crisis took over, and I got booted from CdR before I even realized I had been inactive.
If you had a roleplay going with me: I'm so sorry! Please assume that I do want to RP with you still; however, I am choosing to not respond because I'm assuming that you do not.
You are absolutely welcome to message me if you'd be interested in talking to me again! in fact, please do, I'm too ashamed to message you, I know it's been a long time /sobs
SIGHS DEEPLY, SHAMEFULLY CRAWLS AWAY but... yes, assuming Gen makes it through the application process a second time, CdR's not-so-little mail carrier will be returning, freshly revamped and ready for action!

I lost Gen's design notes in a computer crash, so I'm trying to recreate his anatomy from scratch, hhhh-- Squints at pictures, what the actual frick is that
Seriously, I'd very much love to reconnect with a lot of you. I was looking through the old CdR apps, and hngggg, those feels.

I seem to remember those mushrooms, though I believe Stian came in more-or-less after my leave. Even so, wow, does he look amazing! What a sweet-sounding and thoroughly-done character, ahh, I would absolutely love to roleplay with him someday! He and Gen seem like they would get along quite well and Gen loves to see other tall characters and other characters who have problems wearing shirts
Also, I happened to notice-- happy birthday!!

Okay I saw his old app some time ago and thought he looked just AWESOME, so I was a bit disappointed to see that you were no longer with CdR (not enough art with this boy-- //slapped ). But he's coming back!! YOU'RE coming back!! That is great!!

Sobs yes, unfortunately I had to drop almost all my RP groups at around that time, very tragic! I definitely have missed CdR, so I really hope I can get back in!
Haha, I agree that Gen needs more art! Hopefully I can fix that.
He has a few pieces of art done by others, which I think is astounding! I mean, I own Gen and understand how he's supposed to work, and I still struggle with him at times. It blows my mind that some people look at him and go, "Yeeee, I wanna draw that." Very brave people!
Actually, I was going to go back and finish up Gen's old artwork.. specifically the India event, I remember I was busy so I just slapped that in as a sketch and then never got around to finishing it. I figured it may be good practice...

Pshh, that's because when I first found CdR I went and looked at like a hundred apps, even the ones that didn't get accepted, and Gen's design was so unique that it left quite an impression on me (partly because I dislike spiders...but I like Gen....so it's complicated.... >__> ).

Oh my gosh, the first opening of CdR was wack, there were so many applicants. and with over 1,100 people watching CdR, I fear the re-opening may be the same way
It was a very cool experience, but also totally nerve-wracking. I was absolutely ecstatic when Gen got in, haha!

A conjoined twin would be really cool! Though I actually agree that you may want to be careful with that. From what I saw (up to the second opening), a few people attempted to join with a conjoined twin, and to my knowledge, none of them ever made it in. I seem to remember the mods had a decently strong verdict on whether or not you could join with conjoined twins, though I can't quite recall what that verdict was. It's definitely worth asking about! Sorry I can't remember, I know that's not particularly useful. This was also back in 2012, so it's totally possible they've changed their minds by now. Definitely get the mod's opinions on that one. If you're allowed to do it, though, that would definitely be cool. o: Are you looking at joining the Diamond Faction, then?

Cirque des Rêves, why must you be so attractive to so many? And not to mention that the mods have decided on a strict limit this time (although that's understandable, I heard that it was just so hectic with +100 members).
I know how cool it could be to get in! I actually applied for not too long ago and I was screaming internally when my character got in.
And YES, a lot of the old CdR apps are so cool! I remember there was one of a living doll with beautiful pink curls, and the app had simply gorgeous art and writing. That was another one that, like yours, seemed especially memorable to me. >w<

Anyway, I saw "pink hair" and at first I thought of Piete . Gen and Piete never got a chance to meet, and I still, to this day, think that is literally the most unfortunate thing. Oh my gosh, trying to RP a 2.5ft character with a 7ft+ one, so similar in inspiration, but actual stark opposites in execution-- So cool.
It's funny, looking through old CdR applications, I find myself missing characters that Gen never even met, haha!

Hnnnnng, I wanted so much to be able to RP with that adorable doll but no chance of that... //cries And WHAT. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS. AND SHE'S SO CUTE. But I feel you very much now because now I want to see an RP between your characters. I think it would be the most adorable thing (Gen looking down on this tiny white spider like "What is this", her looking up and going "WHOA"). It IS really cool how different the execution of your apps are, but in my opinion, I believe that's what makes this Cirque so unique in its members. ^^

It really is a cool group, Spirited Away being among my most favorite anime films of all time, and everyone I've had a chance to talk to has been so kind. ;A; Nooooooo, Huiliang is not handsome, he's so derpy-looking right now. Must revamp sooooon. And yes, it's a big group! So far I'm only RPing with one person, though (but it's my first ever RP, so I figured I'd get into it slowly rather than sending out multiple RP requests and getting overwhelmed). Even though it's not a lot, I can see it's a lot of fun and definitely rewarding. X3
