Description My design for Colossus' uniform in the X-Men movies...

Colossus' costume also has the boots on the outside, almost the same boots as Angel, but with the straps spaced differently. The top is basically sleeveless; it ends just above his biceps and is raised a little bit to sort of give it a similar look as the top from the comics costume, but... not as pointy. He does have the big X on his chest because, lets face it, the man's chest is the size of a billboard. It's good advertising. The top is like a jacket, and the buckle on the bottom snaps together to put it on (which is why there's a little line down the middle).
I gave him gloves because hands would be a pain in the butt to do onscreen, in metal. And because I can't draw hands worth crap and decided not to make too big a fool of myself.
Which brings me to the pants. I nearly drove myself mad trying to figure out the best way to do the pants. I wanted to have some exposure of his skin, so that you realize that it is his entire body covered in the metal, and not just his torso and head. So where most of the costumes have padding, I opened it up. He's got nice legs, he can take it. Besides, it's better than the speedo that he wears in the comics. Other than the holes up at the top, the pants are pretty plain. I was going to put holes or pads or something down further, but I think that that would just be overkill. Plus, he's made out of metal. He doesn't really need kneepads or anything.
The base color of Colossus' uniform would be black, and the piping would be yellow (not gold, yellow). The big X on his chest would be dark red, as would his boots, excluding the straps, which would be black. The X's on his belt and boots would be yellow.
