I cannot believe I have a reincarnation sketch lying around. I generally don't read that many MAU fics unless they get recommended or the summary has me thinking about it for days~.But apperantly I did one with Merlin and Prince Arthur and Reborn!Arthur.

OH! I 'm so glad i'm not the only person that noticed Arthurs red toothy necklace thing. i always draw him with it, but i never see anyone else do it! This is awesome, i love how the fabrics move and such, I am terrible at drawing clothes in wind, magical wind or otherwise XD

That's true, I've seen few art where the necklace is shown. I mean he wore is all through season 1 and then it was suddenly gone like puff!
(he secretly gave it to Merlin who hids it under his neckerchief)
Glad you like them ^^ Drawing fabric is hard for me too, I tend to put my sister into pose when I can't draw something to see what it would look like with real clothing and then draw from there.
but you're right things in wind are horrid, so I'm really proud of how well it turned out here, though Merlin's hair might be a little bit too long.

Yeah, Seriously what happened to the necklace, it was so cool too! I am in a constant quest for similar charm so i can make one for myself XD (lol, remember when he threw that pillow at Merlin, and Merlin just walked off hugging it, he totally sleeps with that pillow)
i should make my brother do that for me, that's a good idea

I definetly want a necklace like Arthur's. My Brother has that Looks really similar, but it's white. I've been secretly ogling it to snatch it away and color it red, but he loves it so much that he constantly wears it.
XD the pillow scene!! OMG! How did I not make the snatching connection?! I want to draw that!! Him snuggling that pillow and smelling it and all covered in Arthur scent!!! So much love there! *grin* I'm adding that to my to-do list.
Using my sister for posing is the best! Because I can see how the clothes fall and how the proportions of the body fit better together. She's always huffing and complaining about how long it takes me thought, but I think she secretly likes it.
Coloring can be quite annoying. I make lots of mistakes on that front. It's really not my fort. I find shadowing really difficult. >.< so I know the feeling.

Oh, I have a necklace that i constantly wear, My mom keeps trying to get me to take it off, but man, I SLEEP in it so i don't think she will succeed any time soon lol.
That would be adorable! There really is so much potential for that bit, because they never pointed out where it went, not very clearly at least, however i'm pretty sure i saw it sitting on the windowsill in Merlin's room sometime later.
Yeah, once i had my brother pose for a drawing of him i was doing for my mother, and eventually i got so frustrated that i was just like "Okay, fine, let me get my camera!' lol.
Really? I love coloring and shading, i think it's what i'm best at, maybe we could do a few art trades or soemthing, that would be fun.

maybe Arthur is already secretly sleeping in Merlin's room and want his own pillow there ^_^.
The camera idea is really great for when my sister gets bored of posing. Though I still like it better when I do it live, so I can go over and move arm, leg, ect.
Trading art sound fun!! Never done that, but hey, learning and trying out new things is awesome!

That is true, and partially the reason i don't draw my brother often XD.
Maybe i could color this one? I'll have to dig my tablet out from underneath tons of other art supplies, but i would love to do it

I wish I could draw with a tablet, it seems much faster, though I like drawing on paper. ^_^

XD So am i , i'm rewatching it with a friend actually. we have the same one on as well as being on skype and make sure to start it at the same time. it works quite well as long as you don't have crappy internet.
I'm fine with working with it as it is, actually i rather like the way it's sketchy without being messy. NTM i've discovered a new way to color on photoshop by making the lineart layer a 'soft light' type layer and then coloring underneath it. it has a very interesting effect that i simply love.
Honestly it's no difference time-wise from using a real pencil and paper, it's just simpler with ctrl-z and such. Not to mention you have an unlimited array of colors. But i do enjoy working on real paper better. It feels more...real i guess?

oh man, I wish I had some to watch with, none of my friends here share my love for this fandom.
XD the sketch is so clean, because it was my second copy of the original. The dog we dogsit walked all over the original with wet paws and I just recopied it a bit cleaner and added some details that I hadn't quite worked out yet.
I'll be looking forward to how you color it.
I really enjoy working on paper, it feels as you said more real, and though I'm not that good at coloring, I like the feel of the color pencil and the different effect I can get depending on the strength I use.
Still I really should get myself a tablet to start practicing around a bit and see if I really don't like it. It certainly would be easier if I make mistakes and such.

I mostly use my tablet for that, Mine came with this program called Corel Painter Essentials 4, that you can decide which paper texture you want, as well as it has brushes that look like realy watercolor brushes and graphite pencils etc. It's really cool.

Ah, sorry for the late reply, I was away in Paris for the weekend, where I just went through a total fail, because I missed out on seeing Colin and Bradley live while I was at the Con -_-' I didn't know they would be there *heavy sigh*
anyway, the program sounds really cool, It great that it gives you so many variations and options to chose from for coloring.
I'm really looking forward to see how you make it work ^_^

i'm almost done, i just need to finish shading so you'll be seeing it soon. I'm going to London Comic Con, so i'm really annoyed that they have to be in france all the time. but at least i do get to meet Karen Gillan and Alex Kingston.

That's true, they spend a lot of time in France consiering the castle is there *sigh* I'd wish they'd come to Germany too!
Karen Gillan and Alex Kingston are both from Doctor Who right? I think the main Actors for Doctor Who were at the Expo as well, but as I said I kinda missed out on what was going on at the Comic Con while being at the Expo.

yeah that's Amy Pond and River Song. I actually am surprised they didn't go to germany, i mean there is TONS of beautiful castles there, and most of them are restored or don't need to be, i believe. That's something i want to happen in the fourht season, i want Arthur and Merlin and like you know important people, to go visit another castle, so many people come visit camelot, i think it's only fair that they get to visit someone else for once.

Yup, when have hundreds of them unused and still in incredibly good conditions! And even more that are currently used as hotels, or restaurants by keeping the antique look alive!!
It would be really awesome if they would shoot in some other places as well.
I really hope we get to see some other kingdoms in season four. Not just all those people coming to Camelot, but them going to all those other places that they keep mentioning in the series. Especially as to how series 3 ended. Camelot took quite a blow and this would be the perfect opportunity to show us some new alliances and such.

indeed. Although i can't imagine Uther asking for help, but maybe Arthur will go anyway, like he does. because while the idea of Uther in another kingdom does sound hilarious, especially if it's one that allows magic, i feel like it would seem like they were pushing it a bit.

I don't think Uther would be up to it. But it would be amazing to see Arthur and his knight traveling around more instead of just out into the woods or nearby.

yeah, as much fun as cenred's kingdom can be, i'm pretty certain there are other ones. Remember in poisoned chalice? They could go there. Or to King Olaf and Lady Vivian's kingdom. Or i'm sure they would have no trouble coming up with a new one.
