ZOMG JEDI GORDAN 8DLawlz. Sorry. Just had a geek moment there.
This Deviation was made after a fan fiction I wrote aaaaages ago, in which our beloved freedom-fighter physicist, following the fall of Doctor Breen at the end of Half-Life 2, because of a major teleporting mishap, finds himself transported to a galaxy far, far away. In the course of events, he gets midichlorians inoculated into his blood and, you guess it, he gets to use Force powers. Also, he builds a lightsaber out of the remains of the Gravity Gun that was seriously damaged in the journey. I realize today how crappy that story was. =O
But let's face it, wouldn't Gordon be seriously kickass with Jedi powers?!
And also, who knew Xenian crystals could give fine lightsaber blades?
Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Very neat idea. I love the concept of the saber being built out of the remains of the Gravity Gun. Obviously the concept is a little out there, however I think completely plausible. The various combine technologies that exist, Zero Point Energy, Dark Energy, a light saber's construction in the Half-Life Universe should be exceedingly simple for someone of Gordon's genius

Well, I'd like to point out again that it was from a lousy fanfiction of mine I didn't even put any real effort into (I was fourteen, for the record). To make matters worse, I'd made Gordon talk, isn't that ridiculous?!

well most fanart ive seen is either a trace over of a half life wallpaper or a very stylized or chibi look. i like chibi but i just cant like it when its gordon

All in all it's good. Especially with the lighting with the Lightsaber and the light relecting of the Freeman's glass. The only thing constructive critism is that I have is that it looks a bit grain on the outline of the hand and some of the facial fiecures when looked at zoomed in. But other than that it's a cool crossover idea especially with Freeman's lightsaber being made out of the gravity gun.

No, noet really. I don't think SW and HL mix at all and the idea of jedi Gordon seems kinda stupid to me, though I really like the style and his fierce expression.

Yeah, but as I said, I admitted myself that this fic was utterly stupid. To put it simply, I just felt ashamed I had written something so awful. I just kept stealing quotes from both SW and HL, such as: "They're waiting for you, Gordon, in the Council chamber." Not to worry, I deleted it from my hard drive for good. Hey, I was 14 back then, for Nihilanth's sake, a Star Wars fanboy like a lot of us at that age. I was so unoriginal.
Whatever. I'll try a more classic Gordon in his good ol' hazard suit and with his faithful crowbar next time, perhaps even with Alyx around.
