Description
Hive striders are one of Sedahs most feared predators. They stand about the height of an average human and don't look to threatening but they have a secret weapon. At the top of their body is a pod which contains hundreds of glow wasp, a small organism that fly's in swarms and has a paralyzing sting. When The hive strider sees potential prey it deploys the glow wasp from the pod and they paralyze the target. The glow wasp retreat back into the pod where they are rewarded with sugar that the pod secretes. The Hive strider will then suck the liquids out of the prey and leave a dried husk that scavengers will feed on.

Very little is known about them except that they are likely related to the spear jumper.

Sedahians absolutely despise Hive striders and will stay as far away as they can from Hive Strider territory.
