Description
A dragon Blight may only corporealize among sources of grotesque greed, usually manifesting within kingdoms or empires.

A host to a dragon will experience an intense burning sensation within their innards which only acquiring possessions will seem to cool. Over time the burning grows and so the host must gain more and more to satisfy the burn, driving any man into a draconic madness.
The Host body and all it possess will become crimson and sprout scales and bestial features, often the difference between one's flesh and one's clothes or armor becomes nil. All becomes dragon.

A Dragon Blight will nearly always begin at the top of society, perhaps from a king hording his gold, and trickle down to their subjects, as in their eyes all within the kingdom are their possessions. From this an entire country may go mad with draconic greed and raid fellow nations, consuming all within their path like a colossal raize made mortal.
Often bizarre forms of the sickened appear due to unique obsessions of the host, such as gluttons who become massive and with snake like jaws, or flayed men who tore themselves open to cool their burn having their loose skin become wings.

The origin lords of each blight may become especially bestial, splitting their heads into many and wrapping their bodies in their now blood red hordes of gold, becoming great and awful serpents.

Eventually the hordes will not be able to sustain their dragon fire innards and will self immolate as the dragon blight consumes them in a self-destructive greed. It may take years for this to happen, but no blight last forever, though its damage will surpass it's time on this earth.
