Origin:
11 billion years ago, the first sentients emerged from the batter of matter and energy. These were not intellegence as we know it, so we may never understand why they engaged in a 3 billion year long war. The result of this conflict would be the genesis of monsters, manipulating existing organic life into beast of advanced bio-engineering and great destruction.
These godly weapons migrated across galaxies, slaughtering eachother under the guidance of their creators.

At some point, the monsters began to lose interest in combat, instead settling worlds to breed or die. The Sentients would dissappear, perhaps afraid of there now feral weapons.
The descendants of the beast would be what humanity has come to call "Daikaiju".

Gungnir:
But a precursor still remains, Gungnir, the Spear. For millenia it called out in the long dead tongue of Pulsars, the language of stars. It hoped for a response, but there would never be an answer.
That is until one came from Earth, exciting the sensors of it's ocular vein. The eager old one would migrate to this blue marble in hopes of companionship, only to be knocked unconscious by Earth's atmosphere, something it hadnt breathed in eons.
The sleeping dragon would be discovered in the 60's by Canadian/Dutch explorers and apprehended by an American daikaiju weapons program. Attempts to weaponize Gungnir failed, obviously, who decided against obedience unless it assisted in it's search for a companion.

Gungnir can generate a micro super nova within it's body, then conduct the energy upon it's spines, concentrate the plasma with it's horns, and fire it in any form required. With gravity manipulating wings, he can hover above opponents. His tail can generate a plasma layer and extension to it for explosive and visceral attacks.
