Description
After the immensely destructive explosion of Volare 1974 , sightings of U.F.O.s began to appear. They were ignored for some time until the swarm of 1976. Odd floating creatures started to cloud areas and disrupt radio communication. They feed upon multiple energy sources, including humans which caused mass panic. They were fairly simple to kill, but the result of killing one lead to an explosion similar to a fragmentation grenade. It was soon discovered that these organisms were derived from the remnants of Volare. In recent years military forces have taken advantage of the Volarites as a way to lure the energy hungry kaiju away from cities and populated locations, but as there numbers dwindle the job gets harder and harder.
