A rogue Vanguard Manipulator, the Cull had once followed the protocol of conversion set by his masters the Cosmo Sapiens. He decided to improve conversion by waging decade long conflicts until only the strongest of a worlds sentient species would be chosen for ascension. When this treason was discovered by the Cosmo Sapiens they commanded the Cull's fellow Vanguards to eliminate him, burning off his metallic skin in the process. They woefully underestimated his power. Somehow he was able to survive without the his skin and continued his conversion of worlds through brutal means to build up his own rogue Vanguard army.
