Are you going all digital or hand drawing first. Also what kind of tablet are you using?

It's interesting that you do the clean lineart after you've done most of the coloring, what's the advantage on doing so?

Stunning. One of my favourite FLCL related works. I love the rendering and paintwork, very nicely done

I know this isn't very remarkable to people in this business or folks here on DA, but I haven't seen anything like this.
It's very interesting to see it turn from a bunch of blobs to a splotchy color mix and then built detail and finally end with highlights. It's like seeing a whole bunch of comic formats right next to each other in kind of an evolutionary fashion. Thanks for posting

It's really cool seeing these process shots.
I learn a little from them.
I switch between a sketchy-only style and a simple cartooning style. I have trouble defining my sketchy lines, ha ha.
And I still can't work with light very well, only the simplest lighting and shading.

is there like a tutorial for how you color? i'd say i would have stopped at the 3rd step, but even at that point your coloring is way more advanced than mine (i get pretty lazy with it though) but then you continue it even further, it's insane.
