Between Reaper being popular and Zenyatta's Discord Orb I found him not to be the greatest Tank pick for awhile but after logging quite a few hours of play on the guy, Winston proved to be really useful simply as a Genji counter.
Which is great cause Genji players are inceasingly popular, especially in Quick Match xP

He's a Genji counter and he's also really good for taking out snipers.
I love pouncing up to those Widowmaker spots and zapping her. Players tend not to have an answer to that.

Winston is a great Genji and Tracer counter. Pop an Ana Nano Boost on him and his Tesla Cannon just puts out a lot of unblockable damage.
