Marvel's Ultimate Universe is one of my guilty pleasures when it comes to comics. For the most part I find the re-imaginings of classic characters refreshing if not an interesting read.It'd be an understatement if I said not all of the titles from the UU were "winners" but if you're looking forward to the Avengers movie I HIGHLY recommend reading Ultimates 1 & 2
Anyway, here's some of the big-names in my favorite outfits:
- Hulk from Ultimates 1
- Giant Man from Ultimates 1
- Wasp from Ultimates 2
- Iron-Man pre-Ultimatum
- Thor from Ultimates 1
- Captain America from Ultimates 2

Really good, i always thought that the ultimate universe is a great contrast to the standard MU, i really enjoy reading both universes, Marvel is Awesome

Nice suits for ironman and spiderman, never seen before (because i don't read too much comics). Thor's hamer looks like a hammer-axe, multi-tool

Good stuff, the only thing is the composition seems off. If they are all out to attack or defend but they are facing every which way. If they were actually fighting something it would make more sense. I would recommend spreading it to be 2 or 3 connecting covers, that may help focus on what each of them are doing. Just have them fight Skrulls or something.

While I love Spideys new outfit, I hate the way Peter Parker was replaced in the Ultimate Universe. His death was handled well, but there is no other Spider-Man besides Peter Parker. Why would you even try? And then to go for a cheap "diversity" gimmick? Really Marvel? I hate Joe Quesada.

I would say you maybe right but the story so far is interesting and well good. It isn't just a 'black' Peter Parker. Also, it's comics. No one stays dead forever, well except Uncle Ben.

just want to go in and say that yes "it is comics" ,but it is also the ultimate universe where most of the characters that die stay dead unless you imagine marvel pulling a ultimate scarlet witch on us reviving twenty or so main ultimate brand faces who got killed during the ultimatum wave.

The ultimate series is like the only continuity I read now....well I still but sure damn hated ultimatum( Jeph Loeb can't write unless it's the same dang plot twist). you read the the ultimates lately (awesome isn't it)? btw do you like marvel's marvel now initiative?

Yea! I still keep up with everything UU (Spidey, X-men, Ultimates, etc.)
As for "Marvel NOW!", I'm excited about it. I mean, it's not exactly a reboot that retcons things; looks like they're just making major, modern shifts around after AvX.
Almost like a softer, less slap-in-the-face version of DCnU.

I get what you mean the Dc stuff is really confusing with their stupid 5 year gap the bat family stuff are the only things readable in my eyes..OW which title are you most exciting for ? the all new X-men title sounds awesome...

Yea, "All New X-men" for sure (Love Bendis & Immonen).
Kind of sad that a new team is taking over "New Avengers" as a result though. That's been my favorite Marvel title for like 2-3 years now.
Also looking forward to Fantastic Four, I don't like Bagley but Fraction's a good writer.
