Awww, this is so cute and so sad at the same time, considering that a scene like this one probably never happened in canon. If it did, Azula would have been so different. She wouldn't have been jealous of Zuko, nor extremely attached towards her father. She might have even become a good influence over Zuko, more or less supplanting the role previously held by her mother.

It made me feel sad for Ursa and Azula. Because of Ozai's influence Azula shoved her mother away thinking she is weak and favored Zuko more while her mother had to scold her to correct her and since Azula never let her in she only had Zuko who welcomed her with open arms and gave her love back.
This shows how Ozai not only hurt Zuko, but how he has hurt Ursa and Azula and jeopardized their relationship as mother and daughter.
Ozai took away what Zuko and Azula needed the most and that was their mother.

Ursahuggles makes everything better!
There've been several attempts at a scene like this between these two ladies, but they all lack the basic emotion and warmth you show here. This isn't sorrowful, it's about renewal. Momma's here and Azula -- finally -- feels loved. It's a new beginning for these two and the piece illustrates it wonderfully. It's a beautiful picture drawn with masterful flourish.
And I'm not just saying that because I adore these two characters. Totally.
