My friends have been doing some pretty cool Megaman art so I decided to throw one out too :]I'm a 90's kid so the X series is easily my favorite reiteration of the guy. It's darker, post apocalyptic, with Bounty/Maverick Hunters zooming around in hover bikes! Also for the longest time I thought "X" was named "Rockman" and the original was "Megaman", this was because I played "Rockman X" on the Super Famicom and "Megaman" on my NA-Gameboy, hahaha.

I've been playing MegaMan games since the first one for the NES. Can't say as I really have a favorite version of him though.

The stage in Megaman X 3 is coming to mind; the first stage where you feel like a beast until you get owned towards the end by...damn I forgot his name but it was a Maverick in a muscle steroided power suit.

Aw man, dont feel bad !
X was my first REAL megaman experience, and its sorta embarrassing why. So, while i a claim myself as child of the 80's, teen of the 90's ( i was born 80, so i pretty much identify with both decades) i never really got into the orginal megaman into much later. This is for one simple fact...the box art. I thought the original megaman 1 American box art was a joke. I thought it was some bootleg, and that alfalfa video was trying to rip me off.
Needless to say, i missed out on some of the most classic megaman game-play. I say that, because when i FINALLY played megaman2 many years later...it blew my mind. It is by farΒ my favorite megaman, (with 9 at second place) and was a sweet mix of nostlogia and new found love. The music was just tops at that point, ans so original ( i love bit music) and the gameplay was so addictive.
Anyway, the first megamanX is what got me in the series, and is one of my favs. Long live megaman, even if he has to live through Inafunes Might Number9

I would love an anime where we just see X and Zero dealing with maverick cases. Like a police show, I don't know just a randomΒ thought of mine that I really like while watching this.Β
