Description
So, I doodled a dragon when I was doing doodly stuff (because I was desperately trying to draw one that looked normal) and I managed to draw a decent shape that didn't look too terrible. I tried to make sure it was an easy style to draw so I could make a digital version (already done
) so I achieved that. The wings were terrible because I just thought of them instantly, not bothering to think what was normal, and he has pretty ridiculous colours aswell. BUT
Yay! achievement. I MADE AN OC! It's my first one EVER and it should be a tiger but oh well
Anyways, I'm still thinking of a name for him, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, also some c/c would be REALLY helpful aswell and I'm sure it's not hard to think of some. Thanks!
Oh yeah, if you can't tell, he seems to be somewhat shy
and he has no mouth (Once I've got a name for him, I'll submit the digital version with it)

Ooh, he's definitely got a cool design! His colours are nice (brightly coloured dragons ftw) and the wings look interesting. As Misty's said they're not quite joined at the shoulder, so it looks as though they'd function more as fins or something than wings? Like a cool water dragon or something.
And congrats on the OC. Names... Um... Ciùin? (which is the Gaelic word for calm/quiet bc he has no mouth) Idk, he looks sort of autumny to me, so maybe a name pertaining to that a bit? Are you wanting a name that means something or an English name or what?
Crit: Again as Misty has said his rear is a little square - that can usually be remedied if you make the back of the back legs form the butt, instead of just pegging the legs underneath the body. There probably doesn't need to be a solid line between his tail and body, but that doesn't look too bad. If his wings are intened for flight then they should probably be longer in their outer half, and more joined to his body rather than just at one small area (but if they aren't intended for fight they're not bad at all as they are).
The overall shapes you've used are nice, they're soft shapes so give him the impression of friendliness (and the colour scheme helps that). You might want to make the colours stand out a bit more (bright colours bro, contrast and all that).
He's a really nice dragon and'll probably make a really nice OC

Thanks! I'll always be a fan of bright colours. The idea of a water dragon's pretty cool and I'm definitely gonna make a huge change to the wings and luckily I did notice their weirdness and I have no idea what I was doing with it so that's extremely helpful, thanks!
omg they're amazing ideas for the name! Ciúin's an awesome name (I think I know, but just checking, how do you pronounce it?) and it's a really great idea aswell, with the Gaelic meaning stuff. When I drew him, I didn't know how to draw the mouth bit onto him, I tried stuff but it didn't work so his mouth is just closed or in the back somewhere. He is pretty Autumny so that's a great idea too! I was thinking about either for English or meaning so I'm open for both.

Thank you! He's DEFINITELY a friendly dragon and I wasn't sure if the orange I had was the right one so I just shaded and never did the full thing, but in the digital version I did the day I finished this shows the colours more so I'll probably post it in the scraps

Some c/c would be for the wings cos they're both at totally different positions on his back so idk maybe have them both joined at the same point? Also his bum is pointy, dragon bums arent pointy
