Yeah, not as much awkward as impossible (without breaking anything, anyway), especially considering the other foot's placement.

Regardless.

Now that is a large gun. What does it shoot, patriot missiles? Small children? XD But seriously, both the clothing and the, uh, cannon, are nicely designed and detailed, goggles are always good (interestingly enough, you rarely see them *on* a character's eyes, nine times out of ten they're pushed up like this - actually, I've done them like that in my last twilek pic as well).

What I have gripes with is the anatomy. Point one is the aforementioned foot, point deux is the left hand - the fingers look very two-dimensional, could use more shading. And lastly - the teeth - I'm no expert on twilek physiology, but they don't really have oval shaped teeth, do they?

With that having been said, it's still a very, very well done pic.

Oh, and the teeth! I was going by twi teeth i've seen before - sharpies. Aayla's been shown with them, plus many 'evil' twi'leks... but Bib Fortuna is the forerunner for it. [link]

Hiya, thanks for the detailed comment.

For my shading, this is definitely a cheap picture. I dodged and burned everything - the laziest way possible. I really didn't want to even post it because it was, to me, really low standards of drawing. I loved the personality of it though and that won me over.

The foot position is possible though . You wouldn't be able to support yourself (or fire a large gun) but in the course of running and coming to crouched stop, it's possible. The major pain (for me at least, with degraded wushu knees) is holding the low position for any length of time. Need good knees and thighs!

The gun is a concussion cannon. The middle chamber is filled with rings of alloy densely charged with 'space electricity' (yey sci fi power) and when fired pushes out a solid wave of energy forming a mushroom of very VERY dense air. Basically the bazooka of stun guns. The heavy tail end vibrates to break down the weapons energy to stop the firer being flung backwards.

As for goggles... who needs sunglasses inside a dark ship? But I totally agree... no one really wears theirs but for a headband. Are we all so vain?
