You know, for some twisted and obscure reason I think I like the sketch better than the colored version.
Which is not to say the coloring isn't fitting, but somehow... I dunno, man. The contrast and solid shading on the guy (yeah, I have no idea who those people are, what gave me away?) seem to appeal to my aesthetic center more than the colored pic. The faces, most of all, look very... what's the word... not "crisp", not "sharp"... argh, curses and damnations, English fails me. Well, they look slick.
I'm half tempted to bitch about the background, or lack thereof, but then this was probably drawn with the coloring in mind, so I'd be an ass to complain.
...Why no BG?!
All in all, dig it. Hrm, I'd give it four La's (out of six possible, which is still good).
