That is so damn awesome, like the design of this upgrade 
I wish that Lego would visit Deviantart, look at your lovely artwork, and resurrect Slizer/Throwbot, alongside Roboriders and Bionicle, and that would be an awesome trilogy for a comeback trio

Yeah, it's been awhile. Though, other series/themes have been revisited. Mining, space (numerous times), dinosaurs, etc.

It's just a gradient made in GIMP. I also made tutorial how to make this scene: [link] The only problem is I made it in Polish and I haven't done any english subtitles yet. But GIMP functions should be the same

okay, this is a seriously awesome remake of the old Technic sets.
Are you making more of the sets, and are you going to do the Robo Riders sets (the ones that came out immediately after the Technic sets) ??
Or have you already done the others?

Well, it's hard to find time to build these days, but I'm actually working on red mecha, which I'd like to be Atlantis Mecha remake (8080). But it will be rather long-term project - till now I made these: [link] and [link] . Of course, I still have some bionicle parts to make another creations (I don't destroy my creations) - what about Fire/Torch Slizer?
Roboriders - interesting idea, they have some potential

I like the Idea of Torch, though my favorite was the urban one, can't remember his name. he just had such a different design, you know?
But I like the Atlantis Mecha... hmm, maybe have Aqua show up??

What I find good is that you where able to use almost only vintage parts. Especially since the disks where used during 2004.

good point, i never really considered using other stuff, but then again i mainly have Bionicle and old Slizer pieces left and either they're not the right ones i'm in need of or the wrong color or not enough of one type of piece...

Roboriders are great series too, but I think You should make Your version of Sub Slizer (or other Slizer, why not? There are many types of them).
Anyway, there's a man called "Loserkiller" (on brickshelf) who made modernized slizers - like sub: [link] or Torch: [link]
