Description Her hand slides into mine,
I hold her close to me;
Is it such a sign,
Can she be my key?

I wipe away her tears,
My palm rests on her cheek;
I erase her fears,
As I plug the leak.

Caress her silky hair,
So beautiful is she;
It's more than I can bear,
To have her close to me.

I want to hold her hand,
For all eternity;
Laying on the sand,
It's just her and me

Our hands can do so much,
Why do we not see;
How much they mean to us,
How much they mean to me.

I don't really like love poems, but this reminded me of an RP I'm in and the relationships in it. :3

Oooh~
lolawww, thanks! I can't wait to see what you think of them. [Though warning: Majority of what I've posted is fanfiction. D:]

fanfic on what though? checked and see already that you're a bleach fan, so annoyed that the manga just finished... some nice cosplays you've got there though!
what other stuff do you watch / read?

FFFF I HAVEN'T CAUGHT UP ON IT Last I saw was when Aizen turned into the butterfly and got rid of someone.

Nah I'm mostly a Pokemon fan. :V So most of my stuff is oc/canon fanfics. Those kinds of fanfics are usually looked down upon, and fanfics are sometimes looked down upon in general by writing groups.

well whatever. I still remember when Pokemon started! that was is and always will be one of the most, if not THE most EPIC game ever. now it's getting a bit drawn out, it's true, but the format will never get boring.

Fanfics are fun though! I mean, I don't know much about them tbh, but still, what could be more fulfilling than writing about something you love in a way that you love and twisiting it to include your emotions, how you feel about it, and your personal opinions. Fanfic is the future, and it's so personal that obviously loads of people don't like it; but seriously, it's one of the most engaging things anyone will ever be able to write.

but that's just my opinion

the format is boring actually, if you've been an active and consistent player, but the next games seem to be highly story based. <3

Fanfic is also a way to include yourself into the fandom and a form of escapism, too. But if you like, write something that breaks canon [which is what people usually focus on], that kind of... yeah. Though the Pokemon fanbase is pretty forgiving about their fanfics and fans and everything in general. *thumbs up*
XD I'm glad you think so, so that makes me relieved and less worried about what you think when you read mine. Though warning: my oldest stuff was all crossover. Like, if you exclude everything that made my character a sue, it was alright. The story wasn't very believable/stayed along one path, but the method and style of writing is what I cared more about back then.
Now I'm a little more about story and my style is starting to suffer. xD

that's really a shame though, you should keep your style because it's the one thing original to you. I mean, to give an example, Hitler was an artist, forced to conform and break out of his own style, which was called "childish" and was said "lacks perspective," and look what happened to him! he killed a bunch of people!
anyway, you should stick to syle rather than just content, it makes the story personal, which is what it should be. you'll never write something with real emotion in it if all you can care about is what is in it that other people will read.
write for yourself, and even if noone likes it, write for your love.

I don't mean to, but I've been writing a lot more essays and chose to focus more on that first than other things. Plus, I'm also working on trying to write other things. I'm pretty decent for fluff, and I don't really like it.
Plus, it's only natural that style will change as I progress and get better. I should stretch my writing muscles and find things that work well. I didn't finish a lot of older things, and I had more time to.
And yeah, I write just for writing's sake. xD But it's also very inspiring when people are reading it too, and wanting to read more.

fair enough really, but people should like you for what you are in order to read more and be true fans, and without your style, how will we know who you really are?
I think that when I get around to it, I'll be reading your early stuff before all of this essay-related style-turmoil, just to get a feel of the real you ^^
well, until then, you should stop with the fluff, maybe take a break for a little while, just relax for a weekend in a spa or summat, clear your head, then come back and re-read your unfinished old stuff and just start back in on it without modifying a single word of what you had written, starting mid-sentence preferably, and just see how your style has changed since then.
I think that could be a great experiment, you should try it

Ewwww no. xD MmL's mostly what I'm thinking about, actually. The other stuff's alright ish, just MmL is... yeah.

Ehhh? Fluff's how I make gifts for my friends! D8 xD And yeah, I've been meaning to redoo and finish my old stuff, though improve the stuff that breaks the mary sue litmus test. But I don't have the time because OMFG COLLEGE EVERYWHERE. XD It's seriously one of my freetime goals for the future, when I feel that I can handle that. Right now though, I'm still experimenting, and wanna try pretty much everything before I revisit some older things.
Though I somewhat revisit my fanfic from seventh/eighth grade which was a bunch of lolz for me and my friend. It was so awful. xD It seemed good at the time, sorta, but now it's just like "WOW SERIOUSLY? ". I think that's hidden in my gallery somewhere, tbh. .3.;; It's the main thing I had planned on rewriting. Dunno if I still do, since I (finally) decided to work on my character and make a single fandom bio for her instead of a every-fandom-ever bio. xD It'll probably make rewriting the first fanfic [and finishing!] worlds easier.
