[I don't support Russia in it's invasion of Ukraine]This was a map I made in which everything goes perfectly for Russia in history. I made this because there was a bunch of balkanized Russia maps I saw on r/imaginarymaps, and I wanted to do the opposite and made Russia win everything.
Summary of what happened:
- Russia doesn't burn their country during the Napoleonic War
- They win the Crimean War and take the Balkans from the Ottomans and expand their North American colony
- They gain Djibouti and Madagscar during the scramble for Africa
- Russia wins the Russo-Japanese War and annex Manchuria, Korea, Hokkaido, and the Kuril Islands
- Hawaii is annexed by Russia before the US can do it
- Russia and America go to war over border disputes, and Russia wins, taking large parts of the West Coast
- Iran is annexed following the Russo-Persian War
- War between Russia and her allies (France, Sweden, Arabia, Italy) and basically everyone else happens, and Russia gains the Black Sea coast from the Ottomans, Sinai from Britain, Mongolia and Xinjiang from China, and some land from Germany and Austria-Hungary
- Russia takes Afghanistan
- Another war with similar teams starts, and Russia takes all of Anatolia
- Russia buys Greenland because it is strategically important
