In the original concept art he was actually supposed to have a skateboard but they scrapped the idea in the final product, though itβs not related to this drawing since this drawing is based off Gold from the pokemon manga who does have a skateboard. Probably because the manga was made before GS was finally released and during production so design was based off concept works!
