Description
So these were the steps taken to complete my drawing of Hayden Panettiere.i started taking pictures a little late so you kind of miss the facial steps, but i will be sure to start taking pictures from the very beginning on my next piece.
sorry for the dark bottom left corner, my lamp was too bright to take pictures under so i had to turn it away.

You do great work. But, again, I like this 'progression' series BETTER than the stand alone finished work. This reminds me of those photo booth prints. This would make an excellent wall print.

Do you work with grids?
I find that when I work with grids , I feel like I don't have the freedom I do when I draw a picture totally free hand from scratch. The bonus , is however , the proportions and measurements of the face do tend to be more accurate.
Also , I have a big problem trying to get the darn grid off after it's no longer needed ¬_¬ .

no, for that same reason.
i'm too impatient to get the stupid thing off after, haha.
we had to use grids in a project for high school once and although it was probably a bit more accurate it was a pain in the butt to hide it/erase it afterwards.

It would be really great to have a step-by-step on how you do your hair...I've been looking around for some good tutorials but none of them look quiet as good as yours

How much time take you to draw this?
You check proportions with pencil or you just put page / leaf on the photo?

if i need to i use the pencil, but usually i can tell just by looking back and forth really fast.
although, with this picture, the first step of the wip was taken after i fixed it, but i had to move the eye on the right over after i had finished it already so i was pretty mad, haha.
