>.> Whew doggies this kicked my backside. I had trouble with the shading here as well, but it seems to clear up when I changed the background from black to this lighter color. Also experimenting with complementary schemes (trying anyway).
I love the comic book font A.C.M.E. Super Spy I believe it's called, it can be found on 1001 free fonts.
