I'm baaaaaaccckk XD haha hello there! This is an exchange pic for :iconFullMetalPossession: over at .First of all, I'm still trying to draw better clouds. T.T dunno if it's working lol.
I had a lot of fun with this, one being because they were feathers involved x3 and two being that I've never drawn a cougar before so it was nice to study 'em.

Ok plz dont call me stupid but what exactly is a tablet, Ive tried looking online and I see whats on the screen but never how the person actually does it....

Anyways, so you've seen what a tablet looks like, correct? Well every tablet comes with its own stylus (that digital pen) and what you do is draw on the tablet, and what you draw comes up on the digital art software you're using. It takes a little getting used to (you're not looking at your drawing and instead at a monitor so it's a little awkward at first 
Basically the best digital artwork out there is usually done with a tablet, so you can actually DRAW using the natural motions of the hand (a mouse is just too difficult for detail, etc.) ^_^ there you have it! Any more questions? :]

Not long at all, if you just keep at it. You learn once you get to experimenting with the software (painter, painter essentials, pse, photoshop, sai, etc.) And it's really fun!
As far as prices go I think the starting price for a brand-spanking-new one is $50-$60? It go as high as almost $3000 (for the really big/professional ones)
But each tablet does the same thing :]

Hehehe not really. It's uh...definitely a thud back to reality (that undo button becomes second nature) whenever I go traditional after just doing digital. But no, it's not hard at all, it never leaves :]

Hmmm...I'd say a year. It's all about practice and sticking to it, and you get there in no time! I've got a long ways to go though haha! XD I'd say the toughest part is learning how to lineart smoothly (if you're into linearting stuff

You know when you draw line art for a picture? Personally, that was the only challenge I had- making the lineart have flow and smoothness in a piece.
