"Mother? MOTHER! Thank goodness you are here! Vitani's calling for you and I don't know what to do!"

Nuka yelling while running to his mother who's just showing up after being gone for a day.
As he's moving closer, he notices something she's carrying with her mouth. Is it an animal?
Did mother bring something to eat?

"Mother.. what's that?" Nuka sniffs

"What... Is that a cub?! Mother! Where did you get it? Why did you bring it here?! And what happened to your ear?!!" Nuka screaming at his mother as she drops the male lion cub next to his younger sister.

"Shut up!" Zira finally reply.

Laying down on her belly preparing to feed two hungry cubs. She's looking at her eldest son with sharp dreadful eyes.

Nuka was still confused but manage to shut his mouth before he's getting himself in trouble.

"I found him... abandoned, he's all alone. From now on, I'll be his mother..."

Nuka's shocked

"B...but" His eyes looking sputteringly between his newborn younger sister and a dark fur newborn male cub.

Zira grabs the male cub with her paw and starts cleaning him.
Her young daughter doesn't seem too surprised about this new family member,
she looking at him with bright eyes, too young to understand what's going on.

"Oh.. there's one more thing.." Zira speaks softly

"He's also Scar's new heir. YOUR future king."

"WHAT!!!" Nuka screams. He can't remain silent any longer.

"But I'm his son! I was supposed to be his heir!"

"You had your chance to prove yourself for a long time and you failed! You have failed Scar, you have failed me..."

"But I'm all good now! See? My leg is healed. It's not as limping as it was before. Mother,
if only you give me another chance. I can show father that I'm still worthy!"

"IT HAS BEEN DECIDED" Zira breaks off the conversation.

"There's nothing you can do... You've done enough. From this day, Kovu will be Scar's heir and also your brother.
I expect you to watch over him and keep him safe. He's now our pride first priority."

Zira looking into his eyes.

"You have failed me once, I hope I can still count on you with this... don't fail me, again.

"Yes, mother. I- I won't fail you again"
