I wouldn't say Latvia cries all the time (that's more Ukraine's thing) - Latvia is always shaking, and is timid / scared of everyone.

In this case, Scandinavia here is prior to the viking age - back during the (Western) Roman Empire's existence. Historically speaking, Scandinavia was pretty much ignored by all the big players of the time, and he's barely recorded in Roman writings. Character wise, his only company is his brother (Germania), and he's not exactly the most sociable (or pleasant) of people. Being pretty lonely and cold, he's not going to be the happiest of people, right?

this must be what lead him to such angry "teenager years" as viking D: , later on. tired of being ignored and ignored so he harrased to world xD Then Germania told him to calm down and become cristian or he would beat him up... then he became cristian and calmed down. :/
