Aw, I actually really like these two characters as a couple. Like a less creepy RussiaxLithuania kind of thing going on. I know really nothing about these guys though, I wish I knew more history. Perhaps I should look stuff up on Google?

Appearance wise? :'|a Certainly. Otherwise... not so much.

Just a little info if you'd like it - There is very little around on the Aestii, but we do know they were a unique tribe found living alongside the Germans during Roman times in the area that went on to become Prussia and Lithuania, with influence spreading a little further north-east over time. Scandinavia is Scandinavia - the Romans thought that it was an island back then |'D

Yeah, appearance wise I mean. I just find it funny that Lithuania's dad is crazy for Russia's dad considering the relationship between Ivan and Toris. Hm, so Scandinavia in your head canon is Kieven Rus isn't he? If I re-call isn't there a legend about that Russia, Poland and Czech rebublic where created by three brothers named Rus, Lech and Cech or something like that? This is what happens when I look up hisory, I get confused. Technically though you're theory seems to fit better then the legend. And thank you kindly for the info! Apologies for my terrible grammer/spelling as well.

No worries!

Yeah I've heard that legend too, but I've also seen variants where the Rus brother is omitted entirely. Hmm... But yes, the most widely (historically) accepted theory on Kievan Rus' is that is was founded by vikings. Interesting to note that some parts of Novgorod (which went on to be Russia) spoke Old Norse even after the collapse of Kievan Rus'.

Yay!

Well if they spoke Old Norse I guess that proves the viking theory. How would they know it other wise?
