Because 1) it's basically said "You know all that plot we did and made you love for the past 10 years? Yeah, ignore that" 2) it's not a freaking 2d beat em up - in an age where everything is slowly turning 3d, it lost the two things which really made it stood out.

and i do agree with the second fact. Overture should've been a 2D fighter...but as you said...the world is slowly turning into a 3D graphics whore...

It was humor, don't take my comments so seriously. I like your art regardless of the crazy stuff I say about OTP, heck I care little at all about OTP in fact, I've just got weird opinions on GG that stand out a lot that's all. Has nothing to do with your artwork. As for everything else, I was griping about the meme itself, which you didn't design (unless you did).
