Description
This is my first try at using the "Puyo Puyo" style of SD, so it may need some work :'|a I started off using a completely different style all together, but it was proving too hard to keep consistent seeing as I was in a bit of a rush to get this thing done ASAP.Gijinka fun times! I've heard of some monstrosity called Miracle Train - or rather, "that series that vaguely attempts to personify the Tokyo rail lines", and thought I'd try my hand at something a bit more accurate with the London Underground lines (with the Overground and DLR thrown in for good measure). A few friends have said I should someday try to make a comic series with these lot, so maybe someday I will...
Bakerloo - The rough speaking, inquisitive type. (Baker Street being where Sherlock Holmes lived).
Central - The laid back big brother type. Also the tallest (seeing as Central line is the longest).
Circle - The party animal .
District - The sporty big sister type (focusing on the fact you reach Wimbledon on this line).
Hammersmith - Metropolitan's quiet younger brother.
Jubilee - The youngest of the underground lines, has a lot of energy and loves hi-tech stuff.
Metropolitan - The oldest. Finds things rather quiet these days what with all the new lines, but is still the fastest when he needs to move.
Northern - The busiest line. She's a soft spoken, slightly creepy girl who always has grime on her face and apparently speaks to ghosts.
Piccadilly - Token tsundere. He wakes up before everyone else so tends to get a bit grumpy.
Victoria - The main character(?). Second youngest, but always ready to Do His Best (tm).
Waterloo - Despite her short height, is actually one of the older lines. She's blunt and to the point.
Overground - Young, bright, and cheerful.
DLR - Serious-business type. Wonders why twice a year strange people board dressed in silly outfits with strange props .
And so on.
Last gen print I'll be doing for Amecon, so now I'll relax a little.

This is cool, I like your characters.....what's a Tsundere? And I know had you done this several years earlier, there would have been an "East London" in place of Overground, eh? Anyways, cool!

And here's a good description of tsundere (Picadilly being a Type A).

This is actually a really cool idea! Heck, I'd probably PAY to read this story. It seems fun. Out of curiousity, with the Northern line, is the whole "sixth sense" sort of thing due to the number of accidents on that line over the years?

Not sure about the being paid idea, but I have considered doing a few comics for it And correct on Northern - additionally, perhaps because of all the accidents, it's supposedly the most haunted of the underground lines.

Still, I think the comic idea would be cool. It would certainly be original.

Ah, I love how the only one with a blatantly feminine name is a guy. And the main character. You really should make a comic with these, it's a great idea.

Awesome work
Would like to see a full size version of DLR (who looks a bit like Ciel from Kuroshitsuji) and Overground :3

Such a nice idea, indeed.
I was in London back in june, and I enjoyed it alot : )
I thought I'd never get used to all this messy tube plan... but once I've been there, it all worked pretty well ; )
Maybe, if I had your pic with me that time, I'd found the right lines even earlier
Anyways, you did a really great job, keep it up!
Greets, MV~

DUDE.
My friend was at Amecon and she sent me a print of this. MY MIND HAS BEEN BLOWN BECAUSE I HAD THE EXACT SAME CONCEPT and have drawn the lines as gijinkas before. It's a small world! :'D I really like Bakerloo's design in this, nice Sherlock Holmes reference.
/goes to put up poster in room
