You know one thing that's puzzled me. It's that Batman is considered a lawfully good character yet he's fought the cops a couple of times (obviously he didn't kill anyone but still). Relative to the law of the land Batman is a benefactor but relative to his own code of conduct he's a lawfully good character. What's your take on that.

I don't know, I think Batman is closer to Chaotic Good really. He's a known manipulator who acts outside the law, not opposed to outright violence, but with noble aims in mind. I have actually had this discussion with a friend before now who's much more familiar with the DC universe than I am, and they mentionned how Batman acts as a darker, slightly more chaotic and questionable moral character against Superman's true 'lawful' goodness.

I see your point in that but the one rule he won't break or cross is killing someone. Everything else goes but he won't cross that line and if you will not for any reason compromise whatever rule you hold that that in term makes you a lawful character (he didn't kill the joker in on infinate crisis I doubt he killed Dark Seid and he knows it). But like I said relietive to the laws of that land he is somewhat chaotic/neutral....more so on the neutral cause he helps the police more then he fights them (unless their dirty).

I just took Wizard's alignment test and found out I'm apparently this. Strange for a drow (then again, he was born on the surface)
