Description This is an unnamed character of mine hehe I just love him the little furball. He's like the puppy you've always wanted:
Unloyal, playful, a great master and willing to rip your throat out the moment you piss him off XD
He is standing on a rock in the middle of a sea of lava.

And Yes, that is a stinger at the end of his tail hehe

Some say drawing Manga & Anime isn’t really art, at least not in the sense that you really draw details, fur, textures, etc. But you do, you just present it differently.
I think you picked the background out well. It would allow you to practice shading, and the highlights on the backside; a bit of a challenge, but a good risk to take.
In your comment you left a good summery of what we’re looking at which helps a lot, and is a great credit to you. I always try to cover all five topic questions when I leave an artist comment however.
Who: who is it for, and why is it important to them, if it’s for yourself why should we care? (Sorry that’s on the blunt side.)
What : Covered well done!
Why : Why did you make this? Does it have some meaning? Is it related to some of your other art? Is there anything important that you should say about it? Can you anticipate any questions about it?
Setting: Setting covers two topics, the setting of the piece and the setting you made it in. Internal setting and External setting. As for the Internal, Place, which you covered, and When? External is often left out for years, you usually don’t realize how things in your life affect your artwork until you see it change.
Materials Used: Optional, I can tell you used a pencil.
Time spent: Optional, I can tell you probably spent average for a simple drawing, maybe a bit more since you asked of a critique. (but not everyone is a good judge of time spent)
You may want to work on/find a way to present your work better. A blurry, low contrast picture doesn’t say that you love your art.
As for your drawing itself, I know you worked really hard on it. It is one of your better pieces. For that I praise you! It however lacks shades textures and colors, which I think dose it an injustice. Don’t skip on details, as I mentioned before, it should still have those! More detail will make it shine, and show you where color changes and texture changes belong. As well as show you where you need to work on anatomy, (we all work on anatomy, on every piece.) This type of art usually has one texture and flat colors; but combining different textures will add to the great sense of depth the drawing already has. You gave the lava a wonderful texture but the rocks and fur lack it.
He looks nice for whatever creature it is. You might find it helpful to look at skeletons of animals most closely related to it. Be careful with prospective, the front right paw is smaller than the back left, in fact all the front paws are smaller. (Can anyone say twister?) It looks good standing on the rock, but don’t overuse that pose.
This is really good though don’t get down on it, there are always ways to improve! I know I still am!

Thanks a bunch. Maybe I will work on it a bit more, but I really do appreciate the input. I knew the paws looked funny and I hated the way they came out. I might draw this character more because he is a real challenge to me.

lol i thought you might, there all just suggestions for what you might like to work on. Ur unnamed character dosen't have to be the focal point you can use that one all your drawings.

The wolf's position and the background are very good. I like how you drew the snarl on the wolf's face, and the stones. It's a nice picture
