Srsly tho I love it but I wish my teacher would actually TEACH it. He is so lazy. He has only sat down with us about 15 times the whole year and actually taught.

Ofc I cannot remember cadences for the life of me, nor some of the vocab, but--
im the only person who knows what theyre doing in that class i swear

Lol I don't even know what cadences are. For a whole semester we've been working on the circle of 5th's... Ugh. About a month ago, we analyzed our first AND ONLY piece of music (it was an old hymnal).

jewus;; you guys are really far behind. Cirlce of 5ths and reading clefs / understanding keys was like week one for us LOL but since everyone knew the keys and clefs, we went into chords and stuff

Cadences are awful pieces of shit and a fancy way of saying "chord progression", but it''s specific chords like V -> vi is a deceptive cadence (the only one I remember)

literally cadences will end me--
I can handle neighbouring chords, the different modes, music analysation, fancy vocab---
but I hate cadences huff
