I have a soft spot for action figures :>This figure is amazing. Period. I like it so much I felt compelled to show it to you.
Lots of articulation (feet, legs, head, arms, wrists etc) , cloth cape with saber pockets, removable chest plates and hands, interlocking arms, and not "shorter than I expected," very good size. Just awesome in general (pun intended
)If you plan on buying a General Grievous figure, choose this one.

Basically in my opinion... "All" of the 2010 and 2011 Vintage Collection series is by far the best Star Wars figures release. Except for a very very few that missed the boat.

I found that one at a comic shop, but couldn't bring myself to open it. Buy a second one soon so I can play with it ^^
I love the retro packaging, main reason I could open it. I have two figures I'll never open, well three. First, my Young Boba Fett figure from the second movie, my "death of Grievous" still in the Target special edition box, and this one.
They did a super articulate 3d Clone Wars Grievous, that is pretty awesome. I wish they'd put out a first Clone Wars that was re-articulated, so I could pose all four of the incarnations. Right now using a figure bust for the first cartoon.

You will not Believe how cheap the death of Grievous figure is. I saw one for 3$ on amazon.

It's cool, for a collector piece, but it should have been a mini statue or something. Cause if you look close at it, they just took the first four armed figure, removed the extra, and just put that fire thing on him. A statue would have been more accurate.

yeah I had a hard time choosing whether or not to open it...I might end up getting another one though

I will always love the First cartoon Grievous. Was love at first sight, and several hundred bucks, and many figures, and collectibles (and hours of searching) later, he is my Boba Fett, or Han Solo. I wish my whole collection was here with me, cause I wanna take a picture of them all.
Tip, if you don't have it. You ever find a Lego Grievous wheel Bike set, get it if it's reasonable. Cause it's become a rising price item. in the hundreds, when it was a 20 dollar set. Kick myself for never getting it the many times I could have. Remains one of the few things I don't have of regular availability items.

Pure and simply, he is! I think for such a short lived character, he has a universe of potential, and truly deep history so far.
Any time. I ever see it, and there is more then one, I might buy a couple to try and sell hehe. May not even open my own.

First cartoon, gave him a legacy, the movie kinda fell short, but advents showed why he wasn't the Unstoppable killing machine he once was. The new cartoon, I feel is a little weak, cause he's goofy, if anything, but I do like some elements. His lair, is brilliant. Has a couple comics, and some novels have parts with him. I'd love to see his Kaleesh story be told, from when he first became a warrior, to the days as a Separatist, to the advents that lead up to the origin comic.
Kept meaning to say so, just got so lost. I like to go on (shockers right? XP )

This is the legacy Grievous figure. I have it. It didn't come with a cape and ditachable hands however. I guess this is a repackage.
