This isn't anything cannon or from any particular storyline, just a cute sisterly interaction Megan and I came up with for these girls… kind of to show off their personalities a bit more
Plus I wanted to see if I could handle drawing a whole comic strip with them and all their details XP I figure whatever new future comic series I start working on should be done with my tablet since it's better quality, so I want to experiment with formats a bit. Back when I started Heart Burn it was still much easier for me to get drawings out sketch-form, that's why it looks the way it looks.(And no, don't take that as a "no more Heart Burn" message, whenever it comes back it's gonna come back hard and fast. I just need to get my life back together first. Turtlettes have been therapeutic)

You sort of have to!! It's like "well my character was raised by Utroms... that's fine and great in the 2003 series but they're called the Kraang in the Nick show and they're baddies, so I guess my character is a bad guy too... But they don't even exist in the 80s show, maybe they were raised by Krang himself..?" Gotta adapt to what they give you XD;; and since the new movie has such a drastically different setup we had to work our girls in a much different way as well

like for mine they are much, MUCH older in my 2k3verse, and then much younger in the 2012 verse, and then in the 2007/2014 they're pretty much the same characters in either one. i also had to change their personalities drastically because otherwise they wouldn't really fit right, and their powers and other abilities as well. i really don't mind though, i like designing characters and it's good practice for redesign and learning how to edit characters without trying to be like 'they're this way and they can't change EVER'
