Description An Old Fence
and the story behind it

I am quite happy for this one, because it was taken after an hour trying to take some nice photos with stars and my village. But non of them was good quality. So I desperately went home without any success. On my way home I suddenly saw this. My battery was very low but it was enough to take one last photo on 30 sec exposure and this one photo went out. So in the end, it was a success. At least for me

Hope you guys gonna enjoy it at least like I did.

Very fine urban photo! Sometimes great photos happen when we are planning to shoot something else.

What would you like me to explain? How did I took the shot? Or the posproduction? You have to be more specific when you ask

How did you take the shot? And what did you do in post production? I have been trying to take pictures at night, but they never seem to work.

I'll remember that for the furture.

Well at first you need a tripod and you have to know something about setting the exposure. You have to set your camera on manual mode. At manual mode, you can set exposure time, aperture and ISO. This is what I can't explain to you in short sentence. Only thing that I can tell you is, that the exposure time has to be longer (about 30s) and it depends on the actual light intensity. Higher aperture makes your image sharper, if you have the option to increase aperture number (f), do it.

But beleive me, when you search trought the internet something like "how to...night photography" you will see many tutorials

This is such a gorgeous shot! I love the creepiness of it. The gloomy atmosphere and the darkened tunnel that leaves the viewer wondering where it leads really makes for an impressive piece.

Oh...i know how it feels like...hours trying take the photos you want...and nothing happens. Sometimes it is good thing, it means that you have a good sense of critique.

Thank you. I've found that critize mysefl is one of the most important things in photography and also the hardest. I always like something about every photo I take but then I reallize that I need to think as a spectator. I need to thing like someone who didn't take the photo and ask if I would liked it. When yes I will show it to the world, when not I will just keep it to myself and check it time to time to see what's wrong with it.

Yes and there is also a sign No Entry - that's because the fence is falling down. So I want to go everywhere where that sign is. Cos it always smells like adventure
