Description
I think everyone know what is Gaia. The primal goddess personifying the Earth says mythology...The spirit of the Earth, her soul itself.
For me? It is power joint with calm and protection. Anther sourceful being.
I really enjoyed whole creation process, except part i had to scale down that planet, because it was too big... Whatever, i wanted those details to be visible at last.
It took some time, i hope my next work will take more.

Nice planet texture and colour...looks like its a bit tropical over all, but also has mountain ranges along it in higher areas too, perhaps the dark side of the planet could be a bit darker to make it both more realistic and dramatic. Brilliant nebula though!

Hmm, do you think they are fractal-based brushes? since looking at this again now, I am reminded of how, not too long ago, I accidently made some brilliant fractals that looked like starfields surrounded by nebulae, and now I'm just dying to use them in a space scene

Nebula is most important here i think. I mean planet is too important but not as much
I tried with the darker shadow, but i wasn't very pleased because oll those details just gone to waste then :/

yeah...thats understandable. In the event you do want a heavily-shaded planet in a future work, just try and imagine where the dark side would be, and spend less time on that area so it ain't wasted, thats what I often do
