First You need some picture that will be Your brush. For example black cross on white background. What is black will be Your brush shape, if it's grey or else it will be just less visible. When You have this cross on white bg just press "Edit->Define brush preset" and this cross will be added to Your current brush set. Then just go to "Edit-> Preset manager" and delete everything except your cross, then just click save set and thats all
