i just went through the alien anthology. even went so far as to watch Prometheus, but i didn't catch if Giger had any part in Prometheus.

As far as I know he made a few sketches for Prometheus, but most designs are based on Giger's older works.

I did notice that in the orig. Alien the navigational chair with the engineer in it is in the room with all the eggs, if i remember correctly. I think that one of the best pieces of work in Prometheus is the wall mural in the cannister chamber. Β

I like the tiny blue stars ... the lines (tentacles? Arms?) flowing from his shoulders makes me imagine the energy being absorbed ...Β He looks like a powerful sage (the forehead's signs and horns).
