Description
So here is the reason why I haven't uploaded much lately. A custom WFC Omega Supreme, made from various figures, that I've been working on for half a year now, off and on.Omega Supreme stands about 15 inches tall from head to toe, though I haven't done an exact measurement yet. He has a ball jointed head with another joint in the socket, allowing it to tilt back and forth. His arms have shoulder joints,, swivel bicep joints, elbow joints, rotating joints for the hands and articulated 'fingers'.. His hips are articulated and he retains the articulation of Metroplex' legs. He also has a ton of other, smaller points that allow various pieces along his body to move.
He has a few gimmicks as well. The pistons on his torso can be plugged out, attached to guns and plugged back in for a take on the turret look. The chest panels can open up to reveal his connection to the core of Cybertron, which I've painted fully red in an attempt to match the glowing effect. Likewise with the panels of his cannon arm, though I'm not sure how well it works there (it looks much better in real life though). The panel on his back can open up to reveal his missile launchers. Finally there are the minor articulation points that I mentioned before, which allow the panels to 'reconfigure', to both match the ever shifting panels that the game design had as well as to not get rid in the way of the articulation points. He would have been given LED, but I had no idea where to even begin, so sadly he will have to do without.
There is one thing that I'm unhappy with about this thing though. It's stable, but in some poses the weight becomes too much for it. The legs especially can be a bit finnicky, though it's not impossible to get him in some decent poses, as the pics hopefully show. That was something that required a bit more thought on my part, but he still holds up amazingly well and I don't think that he will break on me.
And of course he still transforms! I tried to get him as close to the game design as possible, but I gave up on trying to find panels for the central cannon. Maybe if I come across something that I can use I will add it to the bot. The hands still combine into a drone ship, and the lower body is cast aside. Might still try and make it into a launch bay or something though.

The resemblance to the video game's character model is uncanny. Exceptional work, my friend. You should be proud.
