And here they are again! Ancel and Stéphanie. There will be other pictures on this page, right now we have this, Ancel in a lele-ikwa, or swimming sarong, Stéphanie in a saia-e'o, or swimdress. Both have towels, Stéph also has a noodle. Any questions about them? In the scraps for nowFrench translation: "We're going to swim in the lake"

I won't give a critique, just a regular comment. By the clothes they're wearing, they look kind of like they were dressed in the very ancient times (like around the B.C. or as I call them B.C.E. years)

"Critique requested" doesn't mean critiques are obligatory, just.....doable.
Well, what they are wearing is the traditional swimwear of Pavonia, or more specifically, of most of the Kingdom of Zyga. In the case of boys and men, it's a special version of the lele, or sarong, with extra tying things attached, and in the case of girls and women, it's a version of the saia or dress. In both cases there are small balls attached to the bottom, called pesae, or weights, now they're just decoration, originally they were heavier, to prevent the garment from flipping up in the water, especially when jumping in, problem is they could be a hazard, especially for those who weren't as good at swimming.
I'll have to decide what colors to use.

Ancel nowadays is almost always wearing Pavonian clothing, especially after he and his sister were adopted by the Miyonas.
