So I finally got to play RE5 even after vowing not to. But it was someone elses game so I decided to play it.I actually should've uploaded this a while ago, but never got round to it, befcause the first time I played RE5 was a couple of weeks back now. But then suddenly I decided I actually gave a toss about this pic and started adding in backgrounds and shading and stuff.
I started off drawing myself as Sheva in Raax's colours, then added more elements of Raax's costume from my ID pic. At least it's better covered, and thus more prepared for taking on Wesker. I've drawn Chris in his STARS uniform because that was the costume my companion was wearing during the fight.
Also, this is actually my first ever drawing of Wesker in his RE5 costume without the coat. Amazing. I do like his shoulder pads. I know that's supposed to be his gun holster, but shoulder pads I say!
I played it purely because I wanted to play the two-on-two boss battle in that game. Seeing as it was one of the suggestions for a GB scene. I was playing as Sheva and the first time I had absoultely no equipment. There was something wrong with the save file so I was on very low health and the only thing I had in my inventory was a knife. Luckily that got sorted out eventually.
When we got round to the boss battle I took on Wesker, I knew from watching youtube clips that he did the dodge-thing when you shot at him, but for some reason I was completely entranced by it, so much so that I didn't move out the way when he attacked me.
'Slap me around some more' was actually what I said when Wesker hit me, I don't know why, it just sort of slipped out...
Then at some point I just grabbed onto Jill to restrain her and then I realised Chris was being strangled to death by Wesker. I tried to let of Jill by just not tapping the button and so she turned round and broke my neck.

LOL that was my brother and me when playing! I was so busy watching how awesome Wesker was and shooting just to watch him play Matrix that we died over and over.

I think the best was when one person would distract him and the other would use the sniper rifle because you'd be looking through the scope from across the map and then when you zoom back out HE'S STANDING RIGHT THERE! An then you die...again.

Yeah, it's fun playing as Sheva, because you're constantly trying to keep Chris' giant, moose-ass safe from Wesker one-hit-killing him.
Next time you do that fight..... hit him with a flash round/grenade. **snerk**

Ah, good on you (I had some problem with the memory system. I started the level with just a knife, by the Wesker fight I had a gun with a few spare shots)

Yeah. I found out many ways how to defeat that blond tower of evil. Try to blind side him. Or attack when he attacks. It helped a lot.

I totally run up to him every time and wait for him to kick me in the face....
Some of my lines include
"harder" "yeah baby, teach me a lesson", and "make it hurt so good..." whoever I'm playing with usually just gets frustrated and quits cuz i die every time by running up and 'humping wesker haha...
this is too awesome <3

That would be the most epic game ending ever, if it just finished the game after your experience there...
'Wesker looks to Jill, shrugs' "Well, guess that's that... Jillian, be a good girl and come along so we can go infect the world...." 'whistles as he saunters off'

Hehehe. I only played RE5 a bit on the X-Box 360 of a friend and the PC of another. Just saw the beggining of the game and the middle part, with the Uroboros battle and the factory. Didn't like it t all. That was not RE for me xD
But some things were funny. The way Sheva is always there taking care of Chris when he is injured or in need of help on single-player game was interesting to me (and another sign of Chris never being able to take care of himself alone LOL), and the graphics were astonishing (I played very few new generation games so far, to the point on some games I catch myself asking my friends if the CGI is live-action or not XD), but only that. And ah, RE5 Wesker is jerkely funny xD Altough that destroys him as a villain at all xD

Yeh, playing RE5 didn't really feeel like a Re game at all, still luckily it doesn't stop me from going home and playing CV for as long as I liked.
Yeh, when I got to play as Chris I had Sheva coming and helping me quite alot. (And now I feel another idea for a pic coming on)
Jill as a boss is quite annoying she doesn't slap you round as much as you'd think

You know, seeing how the Tyrants don't have any external genitalia and the virus Wesker was injected with is similar, it's a common suggestion there had been certain changes in his anatomy, and that sequence would certainly suggest he doesn't seem to posses certain weaknesses male humans tend to have.

That battle is really easy if you just evade them and run away.
It's harder if you try to beat Wesker. But it's mostly hard because you need to get into right positon to shoot him from somewhere he doesn't see you. Which makes that battle usually like this for me:
"There's no point in hiding!"
"I'm not hiding! I'm trying to find you!"
But the Jill-battle afterwards is my least favourite in the game. Because you can't kill her, you need to smash buttons and it's difficult to get into right position.
And yeah, if your AI partner grabs Jill, they will not let go to help you if you're dying. And that has happened to me several times on harder difficulties, Jill kicking me, Chris using that chance to grab Jill, leaving me to die.
Personally I like the second Wesker-battle the best of them all, the one where he is wearing the coat and you need to turn off the lights.
It makes him look like an idiot, though (Just take the sunglasses off!). But it's hilarious when he decides to throw missiles at you.

I wasn't nearly that subtle. I walked right up to him at various points. At one point I was dying and the screen went red but I was still searching for him 'come on! I can take you! Just you come here!'

Ah yes, I beat/survived against Wesker and went onto that battle, after 10 mins of the same routine of tapping the same buttons but with nothing happening and she jumped onto the leadge and just started shooting I went 'F this!' and just shot her with the magnum.

I haven't heard of that fight, I'll have to go on youtube and search for it some time. But I like the idea of the missile throwing, so that's where they got it from in MVC

The missile throw is great, also Winds of Madness is such a great theme for Wesker. And I love the MVC remix as well.
I first heard that theme being used in these animations [link] It's a parody but I think it should be the RE film. Towards the end it takes itself seriously enough to create a really dramatic fight at the end. It makes the best template for a RE film I've seen so far, sticks to the plot, better characterisation and acting than Paul Andersons films and even Lisa Trevor appears in it

The acting never struck me as horrible, for what the films are, but you could have monkeys fling their shit on keyboards and get characterization and plot that sticks better to the games.

Oh yeah, Andrew Smiley is the best Wesker voice ever. He's great in everything he does [link] he seems to do every Wesker parody on youtube. There's another series where the first episode all the voices are done by university students in Wales by the sound of it (I know because I'm almost certain that my cousin is one of them). But a couple of episodes Andrew Smiley is voicing Wesker.
The film acting is kinda bland, in that none of the characters ever displayed an emotion. It's the main reason I hate Alice 'thanks for making me human again Wesker' well bloody show emotion you bint! It's what humans do!
Film Carlos might be the best character in the films, but that's only because his actor actually has some charisma.

Yeah, it's bland. It's not horrible enough to be funny, or really jump out. Of course it didn't help that the script is horrible.
Personally I like Milla Jovovich, but she is not very good in those movies either. I blame the script (or what passes for it. Especially Afterlife was just so random) and the direction.
Paul W. S. Anderson directed the first and the fourth. Maybe it's because I know it was him and his scripts suck, but I think those were the worst directed of the movies.

I agree, I was watching the Fifth Element the other day thinking 'she's good in this, why isn't she good in the other films'. But its because Anderson can't direct characterisation and there wasn't any in the script to begin with.

Yeh, I found those films the most intolerable of them all. The first one took alot of effort just to sit through, but the fourht one crippled me. The second one is probably the most watchable, it has better better direction and is the closest to what a RE should be. But I've never watched it all the way through in go. The third one doesn't even look like a RE film.

I kinda liked the third one best.
Because at that point it became clear it had nothing to do with the universe the games take place.
The first two made me upset.
The third just took it in such a different direction I can just easily ignore it and all of the live-action movies.

I actually have more of an issue with Degeneration, because it's canon.
But not too much, it's kinda easy to ignore. I guess I like it what they did with Claire's character in it, but she's not someone I'd care that much of.
Leon was just so boring in it. And the romance was dumb.

I like Claire being the unconfident civilian. She comes across nicely in the film (and having more personality than Leon) its abit of a shame they push her in a corner in the second hour. But yeh, Leon is hardly worth remmebering, and there so many LeonXAda shippers (an occasional LeonXClaire shippers) that no one was really gonna accept the tacked on Angela Millar stuff.

I'm actually against all the super over powering they did with Wesker in RE5. It's just too Over the Top. But it was strange actually playing the level. For some reason bullet dodging became acceptable when I was actually shooting at him. But it is way too close to the Matrix
