As you placed this into the No Mercy folder that means you want a brutally honest Critique from #thephotographyunion.

An interesting, playful shot. Your use of angle and exposure make for an old time, warm feeling shot. I’m a big fan of dof shots so you have my attention there.

Unfortunately the overall tone provided by the above positives is balanced by the model in the shot who has a very modern look. This downgrades the overall theme for me and throws it to more of a spontaneous snapshot or stock photo category… which I don’t think is what you intended. It may have worked more effectively by staying less neutral with your overall exposure, color and tone. You can tell that the shot is full of color and contrast and I think you’d do well to bring that out or go the opposite way by abandoning color for black and white.

I can see from the rest of your gallery that you have a good eye and technique. A lot of your work is much more expressive, original and well conceived. While I do like this piece I just honestly think it doesn’t rise to the same level as what you’ve displayed in the rest of your port without some modification.
