Description The assignment this week was to have at least seven objects, each with a different motion path. The goal was to create a scene that looked like it was full of movement and life.

This made the class laugh. That made me happy.

lol... i love the yellow one. It could use more squash and stretch though. More pull in the reaction time from the initial floor hit. Other than that i love its comic - ness.

Yeah, I wanted more squash-and-stretch, but it wasn't until after this project was due that the teacher told us how to really get it to work. Also, the bouncing bunnies in the background don't obey gravity like I wanted them to.

And I use Bryce 5. I should've really made a seperate texture for the ears that was the same color as the face and just lacking in face-ness. But I got lazy.

If I get time, I'll redo this.

They do. Bryce has zero true modeling capability, but it has one of the best ray-tracing engines in existence. Also, the interface is far more user-friendly than Gmax. For foobs like me who can't do 3D modeling to save their lives anyway, it's a bargain at $80. :3

A classmate told me details about what it's like using Maya and I just about had an orgasm, but I'd rather put the money towards a car.

I also meant to add watch double facing and material id maps. You should not have repeating in the ears for the facial map. Seclude everything to ID faces and use the UVW gizmo to fix this. ( if your using max ) Unlesss you used maya , then teture correct. Just my 2 cents.

It wasn't THAT hard. It's really the same model duplicating six more times with different textures added.

Though mapping the textures just right was HELL.

I dunno... I kinda like the shadows. I thought it would be interesting to give such a cute & happy little scene some sinister lighting. Though I really didn't put THAT much thought into the shadows like I could have, I suppose...
