Why Plastic Trees? Because it was meant to be an experiment in producing a run of the mill C4D signature. It would have been, anyway.This was more of an adventure than a signature actually, over the days I worked on it I just sort of...learned to think differently about my ideas. It sort of shaped itself and I was just along for the ride, it went wildly off the rails and I just kept with it.
I appreciate it more for what it means than what it is, since starting it I've had so many new and different ideas for all kinds of art!

Lol, nah you just saw it differently than me. I had to slowly work it over 6-10 hours so I got a pretty set in stone idea of what I thought it was. It probably just means you saw it through fresher eyes than mine!

That's the average I spend these days on one, it takes a lot more in Gimp to get things done just right for me. xD
Lol sure sure, I was just teasing. Trust me I know about vision trouble- my eyesight was so bad when I was young I had to learn to read by shape-blobs, I can speed-read like mad now since all I need is the words to be the right shape but it was tough before I got glasses. xD

I tried GIMP a few times and for me, it's really hard to use x.x
There's some nice features that PS has, but GIMP doesn't c:

And in reverse, Gimp has plenty that Photoshop doesn't! (Oh my goodness I'd be a wreck without GMIC)
But yeah no surprise there, if you used Photoshop or Paint.net before Gimp 9 times out of 10 you won't like Gimp and vice-versa. (I know people who out-right hate Photoshop's interface, it does take getting used to aswell) xD

Well I might have gotten carried away, Gimp is definitely hard to master and rough to start- Sorry I feel like I might have gotten a bit defensive, I've used Gimp for 6 years and I totally forget some times just how backwards it can feel so it's more so me being salty, sorry! xD
I get a lot of flack for using Gimp instead of Photoshop and it ends up turning me a bit sour to the discussion, but I do agree Photoshop is a massive upgrade in many ways to Gimp. Interface being one of them!

Just be honest, was this meant to sound as insulting as it does? I can take an insult, I know not everyone is nice and not everyone can be nice about their disdain of others' lives and decisions but the more I read this the more I can't tell just how hurt I should feel if at all. o.o
