In my head canon Kururu had a permanent blanket fort built in his room as a child that he slept in instead of a bed.There are several reasons I have come to this conclusion:
As an adult he sleeps in a closet with piles of blankets. He loves being under the kotatsu. He has also been known to sleep with his head under the blanket with his butt sticking out. XD He also likes dim lighting.
I also wanted to show a little bit of his childish side, since we all know he was a genius, but he was also still a kid too. There is something very warm and safe about being covered by blankets, and I think his character has always been drawn to that.
This took me forever to color...lol, so many layers. But it was a good exercise in lighting, I know I still need practice but I think I am improving a lot.

Lol, My sister and I built one in our living room a couple months back and we are 25 and 27 years old! There is just something so cozy and fun about them.

I never got to finish that one, but yes it was a lot of fun. Some of the babies cries were REALLY annoying though.

(( Great work! You're always so good at drawing blankets and cloth. I wanted to draw him or Tororo recently sleeping inside a drawer, but didn't get the blanket right and it turned into my 'Naked Tororo' drawing. lol Good headcanon. Makes sense. ))

Thank you, I put a lot of effort into coloring those blankets and trying to make sure the shadows looked believable.
We should do another collaboration sometime. I've just been so busy practicing my own coloring, but maybe I can do something Tororo for you.

Sure. You have any specific ideas or characters in particular? Or we could both sketch randomly and see what we can come up with. Maybe you can draw me something to color and I could draw you something to color. That could be fun.

Okay, I'll draw Tororo sleeping in a drawer since I already drew Kuru in his blanket fort I think I should give some else a try.
I was thinking maybe something with younger "Shosa" Kuru and maybe Garuru (like giving him a noogie or something XD)
