As mentioned here: [link] where I show the "other proposal" for the SR n00b rules cover, I was asked to do the cover for an "introductory rules set" for people new to SHADOWRUN -- on kinda short notice.

For this pic, I actually used a character sketch I did in -oh- 1994(?) or so. The girl in the pic is called FIANNA, and she was (or still is) a kinda "troll" physical adept. Back in those days the 2nd edition of SR had just been released, and after studying the new rules I got into some kind of argument of how you can build the absolute "uber troll", what with the new physical adept rules and that +1 reach and another +1 reach for a nifty combat axe (dikote covered or combat focus).

Anyway, the result of that character tweaking (minmaxing to the extreme) was Fianna, whose concept was that she's be some kind of "norse quasi-troll", a "Valkyrie" physical adept. Combat (and chaos) incarnate, so to speak. (The Runners Companion wasn't out then)

It was great fun playing her, even though I would shoot any player that tried to offer me a concept like hers when I'm gamemastering

If you find her too cute to be a troll/ork/whatever, just imagine her to be human with cool implants and body mods. She won't mind.
