Thepenpals.tumblr.com topic for this past week was fairytales. In my research to find something Rapunzle related that wasn't disney, I found The Rapunzle Project. The Rapunzel Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping chemotherapy patients keep their hair during treatment. Their hard work has inspired me to create this illustration. If you know someone with cancer who is worried about loosing their hair send them here. [link] There is hope.Alphonse Mucha and Berth Morisot inspired this style. (Though I don't believe they ever used Photoshop)

Since hair grows at 1/2" per month she sure looks good for her age. Hmm, 20' of hair.. 240" = 480 months or about 80 years old. Of course magic is involved.
