Thanks very much! Β The lady who traded with me for this design asked for a "butterfly koi", and those fish have the frilly, longer fins like these. Β

Thank you! I *am* planning to expand this series properly into the other five elements very soon.
LOL - Watch it on that grog; it'll put all sorts of ideas in your head.

Do love the way you played with the pen tip over this work; so much detailing -- your hands are never at rest. Excellent!

Thank you! I enjoy playing with line and texture together in the Harmony of Bone series. I plan to experiment some more with new animals and elements very soon!

You're welcome. Pointillism kills me when I try it, is I really respect anybody that can use that technique successfully.

LOL - Awesome. I'm glad you're pleased with the way this turned out. ...And yes, stippling is mad, crazy stuff. It has to be taken in very small doses.

I drew the fish first in pencil, then I used ink pens to do the linework and all the zillions of dots. I'm primarily a traditional medium junkie.

I don't mind at all. Consider this to be blanket permission to color anything you would like to color.
