Can't draw Pips without the leading lady of the film - I find Crysta very interesting to analyze as an adult: she actually has a pretty subtle character arc compared to Zak's, and a lot of it comes from the inadvertent love triangle she becomes involved in. It's fascinating to watch her go from being devil-may-care I-don't-want-responsibility, to evaluating her hang-ups about commitment, to finally accepting her new role and gaining enough maturity to acknowledge how she presents herself to others and the example she wants to set...Oh, and I totally think Batty has an unrequited crush on her, just throwing it out there I could write an essay about this movie, but there are so many other things I should do instead, so it's going on the pile
